The easy way: one box
Meteor75 Pro FPV Kit
Recommended
Drone, goggles, radio, and batteries in one purchase. The easiest way I've found to get started.
For anyone who wants one box and to be flying today
What I fly & recommend
Everything here is something I've flown and made a video about. I fly this means it's in my bag right now. Recommended means I'd tell a beginner to buy it.
Some of these are affiliate links. If you buy through them I get a small cut, at no extra cost to you.
This is what I'd tell a friend to buy. Grab the kit if you want it easy, or put the pieces together yourself.

Not sure which one? I've got a video coming comparing all three.

Recommended
For flying indoors and in tight spaces
My first FPV drone. Small and light enough to fly around the house.

For indoors and outdoors, with a little more power than the Air65
I fly the Race version as my main analog whoop. I tested all three versions (Freestyle, Race, Champion) head to head.

Recommended
For beginners who crash a lot (so, everyone)
The newer version of the drone in the Meteor75 Pro kit, on its own. Built like a tank.

Recommended
For your first pair of analog goggles
The goggles I started with. Simple and affordable, and plenty to learn on.

For your first radio, and maybe your only one
The radio I fly with every day. Small, affordable, and ELRS built in.

Recommended
For the Air65, Air75, and Meteor75 Pro II (all 1S whoops)
The batteries I use in my whoops. Get more than you think you need.

Recommended
For charging a stack of 1S batteries at once
Charges six 1S batteries at a time.
Analog is still where I'd tell most people to start. When you want HD video in your goggles, this is where I'd go next.

My pick for your first digital drone
I fly this
My first digital drone. A 1S whoop with the DJI O4 Wide Air Unit, so it flies with DJI goggles instead of analog ones.
For whoop pilots who want HD video
You'll need DJI goggles to fly it. I use the DJI Goggles 3.
My current analog setup.
